What to check when a chilled delivery arrives

By hilling · · 1 minute

When a chilled drink delivery arrives, check the packaging, bottle condition, and the seller's temperature and storage guidance before putting it away. Take photos if something looks damaged or does not match the instructions.

Keep the order details and batch information available when contacting the seller. Describe what you observed—broken glass, a loose cap, missing insulation—rather than guessing at the cause. Do not taste a questionable bottle to decide whether to report it.

A delivery article cannot establish the safety of a specific package from a distance. The useful next step is prompt contact with the maker and appropriate handling of the product. Plan for someone to receive a refrigerated order rather than letting it become an unattended porch experiment.
