How to store a refrigerated ginger drink

By hilling · · 1 minute

Store a refrigerated ginger drink according to its package instructions, and put it away promptly after purchase or delivery. Do not assume a sealed cap makes a refrigerated product shelf-stable.

FDA guidance recommends keeping a refrigerator at 40°F (4°C) or below. An appliance thermometer is more useful than guessing from how cold one shelf feels. The product's own date and handling instructions still matter.

Keep the label visible, especially if you have several similar bottles. If you transfer a drink into another container, retain the ingredient and date information rather than leaving an anonymous jar in the fridge. A storage system should make the next decision easier: which bottle is this, and what does its label say to do?
