CLEAR FACTS. CAREFUL ACTIONS.

A guide for your assistant.

Start with the product guide. Hilling is accepting no-payment launch reservations, not selling ready-to-ship stock. Unknown dates, costs, and dietary information must stay unknown in your answer.

Read the facts

The public catalog v1 needs no authentication. Its JSON Schema defines all six variant records. The response is complete, ordered like the flavor menu, with no pagination.

Price amounts are integer minor units in USD with precision 2. The case price is an estimate; amount due today is zero. Refresh after 300 seconds. Use the ETag with If-None-Match; an unchanged response returns 304. Recheck before a reservation. A null value means unknown, not zero or safe.

Reserve only when asked

Reading a page is not authorization to submit contact details. Get the person’s explicit instruction before using the reservation API (the reservation form is currently hidden from navigation). No account is required. No public endpoint lists customer records.

POST /api/checkout/session accepts JSON: sku, quantity (1–4 integer cases), flavor (a catalog ID), email, phone (10–15 digits), shipping (name, street, city, California zip), and optional utm/adId. It never collects payment. Send a random UUID as Idempotency-Key and retain it for retries of that exact request. Browser submissions do this automatically.

A successful result includes mode=reservation, orderId, checkoutUrl, amountCents (estimated case subtotal), currency=USD, and amountDueNowCents=0. Same key and normalized payload returns the same reference. A changed payload with the same key returns 409 IDEMPOTENCY_CONFLICT without a new reservation. Keys are scoped to this endpoint and retained with the reservation; they do not expire automatically. After deleting a reservation, do not reuse its key.

400 BAD_INPUT means fix the submitted data. 422 NOT_CA means use the waitlist instead. 500 SERVER means retry the unchanged request with the same key. Legacy requests without a key remain accepted but are not protected against duplicates.

Access and evidence

Search and interactive assistants can read public product pages and this catalog, subject to robots directives and host access controls. Automated submissions require the person’s authorization. This does not grant training rights or permission to bypass a challenge. Consult robots.txt for crawl rules; silence is not consent.

These are ordinary web interfaces. No official connector, partnership, or endorsement by an assistant provider is claimed. We have not verified purchases through ChatGPT, Claude, Muse, or Instinct. There is no payment operation to test.

Blog notes are published by hilling with AI drafting assistance. Product facts come from the current recipe catalog and implemented reservation flow; food-safety sources are linked in relevant articles. Publication dates remain original; modified dates change only after an editorial revision. Search rankings and AI citations are not measured here.
