Reading a citrus blend before you buy it

By hilling · · 1 minute

Read the full ingredient list on a citrus blend instead of relying on the fruit pictured on the front. A large orange illustration does not tell you what else is in the bottle.

Look for the ingredients that matter to your choice: ginger, other juices, water, sweeteners, spices, or flavorings. If you avoid a particular ingredient, check the actual label and any relevant allergen information rather than treating the flavor name as a complete list.

For hilling's original recipe, the named ingredients are ginger, orange, and lemon. Other flavor pages describe separate recipe ideas. Keep those identities separate when comparing them. A label should make the distinction easy; it should not require you to infer the recipe from a bottle color.
