Orange-ginger iced tea
By hilling · · 1 minute
Add orange and ginger to tea that has already been brewed and chilled. For one glass, try five ounces of unsweetened black tea, one ounce of orange juice, and one teaspoon of ginger juice.
Stir and taste before adding sweetener. The tea, fruit, and ginger all contribute their own character, so a small adjustment can be enough. If your tea tastes too strong on its own, dilute it before trying to fix it with more fruit.
Pour over ice and add a thin orange slice. This is a tea drink with ginger, not a caffeine-free drink unless you choose an appropriate caffeine-free tea. Keep that distinction clear when serving it to someone else. A ginger ingredient does not change what is already in the tea.
