What a batch code should help you find
By hilling · · Updated · 1 minute
A useful batch code connects a bottle to information about that particular production batch. It should make dates and relevant records easier to find, rather than act as a decorative string of letters.
When reading any batch page, check whether the information is real, current, and clearly tied to the code on the package. A sample certificate is a demonstration of the format, not evidence about a bottle you bought.
Hilling will publish batch information when the first bottles are ready. Until then, the batch page carries no laboratory results. When your bottle arrives, use the information supplied with it and ask about anything missing. A batch code connects a bottle to its production record; it does not, on its own, prove a testing claim.
