Glass, cup, or straight from the bottle?
By hilling · · 1 minute
Choose the vessel around the occasion. A glass makes color and texture easy to see. A small cup works for a tasting. Drinking from your own bottle is convenient when you are not sharing it.
For a comparison, use matching glasses so shape and appearance do not distract from the flavors. For a mixed drink, choose enough space for the base, water, and any ice. Tiny bottles do not require tiny finished drinks.
If several people are sampling one bottle, pour separate portions before anyone drinks from it. Keep the label nearby for ingredient questions. There is no special glass you have to buy to enjoy ginger and citrus; use something clean, stable, and comfortable to hold.
