Landing flavor and chosen flavor can be different

When you join hilling's list from a flavor link, the flavor that brought you to the site can differ from the one you choose in the form. We keep those as separate fields rather than assuming they are always the same.

For example, a lemon-focused ad might bring you to Meyer Lemon Gold, but you could select Fresh hilling before signing up. The record can then show lemon as the landing flavor and Fresh hilling as the selected preference.

Campaign tags on the link can also accompany that signup. They help connect a submission to the link used; they are not proof of every step someone took before visiting. Your email and signup records are not published in the blog or exposed as a public contact list.
